Pastor Terri L. E. Peterson

Pastor Terri received the call to ministry at the Episcopal Church of St. John the Evangelist in August, 2017.  She served as supply pastor at St. John's in 2009 which began our mutual trust and partnership.  She is excited to serve in a congregation that is committed to Downtown Ministry like St. John's.  And, is passionate about our partnership with Beardsley Primary Center, Suzanna's Kitchen, the Diocese of Honduras, the Interdenominational Ministers Association and the commitment to share Holy Communion with those who are unable to attend worship.

Pastor Terri is passionate about worship and preaching the good news of Jesus Christ.  The worship of Christ is the ministry of the church and is central to our life in Christ.  If you wonder what we are all about join us in worship on Sunday mornings.  This is the primary place that we learn about God and what he has done for us through Jesus Christ.

Pastor Terri has previously served on the Habitat for Humanity Board in Ohio. She has volunteered at a pregnancy crisis center as well as schools assisting teachers in the classroom.  Pastor Terri sat on a panel at the University of Notre Dame's Science department to discuss diversity in religion.  She has also partnered with Mosaic, a ministry serving the intellectually disabled.
